In 2023, Riverland Bar underwent a significant transformation, expanding its riverside deck by 800 square meters, creating a three-tiered outdoor drinking and dining area that can accommodate up to 1,000 patrons.
This expansion enhanced the bar’s capacity and provided uninterrupted views of the Story Bridge and the Brisbane River.

The Story Bridge is a heritage-listed steel cantilever bridge spanning the Brisbane River that carries vehicular, bicycle and pedestrian traffic between the northern and the southern suburbs of Brisbane.

Riverland’s three levels – plus the Sky Deck – all have water views which you can enjoy with our craftily curated drinks menu has everyone covered, including a cocktail menu with a nod to the Sunshine State, an array of the finest local Australian and International wines, and 16 tap beers and ciders.
We’re the perfect afternoon knock off place for our corporate clientele, as well as the most iconic place to celebrate a milestone birthday with river views.
Riverland features an industrial fit-out, an open-air beer garden, a 24-metre long bar and converted shipping containers serving street food from Brisbane food vendors.
On Saturdays and Sundays we are known for hosting a bottomless brunch which our guests enjoying delicious cocktail carafes and grazing on food from our Greek sharing platter.
Riverland underwent a major renovation and expanded out three decks over an old carpark, reopening in May 2023, brilliant and bigger than ever. We have hosted events with up to 1100 guests.
